The Integrations Dashboard is a feature available in our Business and Enterprise Plans, designed to seamlessly connect Taptok's Professional Networking Solutions with over 6,000 apps. It enhances lead conversion value and boosts audience engagement by providing unlimited integration possibilities. Among these integrations, you'll discover some of the most popular CRM solutions, highly requested by many of our valued customers.

One such integration is Salesforce. Before delving into the steps below, we recommend reading this article about Integrations, which explains how to use the Integrations Dashboard and set it up: Link to the Article.

Here's how to set up Taptok + Salesforce:
  • From the Main Dashboard's sidebar, click on "Organization."
  • Then, select "Integrations."
  • Click on the "Create Zap" button under the "Your Taptok Zaps" menu

Trigger:
  • Within the Zapier screen, below the AI option, click on "1. Trigger" (the "Trigger" is the event that initiates the Zap)
  • In the new screen, select the application from which Zapier will collect information. In this scenario, it's Taptok's Platform, so choose or search for Taptok
  • Under "App & Event," click on "Choose an Event." You'll find options that initiate the Event; for example, select "New Lead" to automatically create a new lead when it's added within Taptok's Platform
  • Click on "Continue."
  • If prompted, grant permission for Zapier to connect with your Taptok profile. Click "Sign In" or "Continue" if you're already signed up
  • Click "Authorize."
  • Click "Continue."
  • Click "Test Trigger." Zapier will collect any current Contacts and Leads in your Taptok Account. If none have been created, you can create a "Test Contact."
  • If you have one or more contacts or leads already, click on the New Contact bullet point and then Click on Continue with the selected record

Action:
After specifying the Trigger, it's time to connect with the second application and create an Action.
  • On Zapier's main screen, click on "2. Action."
  • Search for and select the application you want to connect to; in this case, Salesforce
  • Under "Event," select the one that best matches the Event of your Trigger, such as "Create Record."
  • Click on "Continue."
  • You may need to sign in to the second application using your credentials
  • Click "Continue."
  • Under "Action," search and select "Lead" on Salesforce Object. Multiple fields will become available, allowing you to determine what information should be automatically populated within the second application when the Zap is triggered. Match the Lead's Information from Taptok as needed (e.g., First Name, Last Name, Email, Phone Number, etc.)
  • Scroll down and click "Continue" once you've selected all the necessary fields
  • You can edit the name of your Zaps below the Zapier logo
  • Click "Skip Test" or "Test Step" to save your Zap
  • Finally, click "Publish" to finalize the Zap creation
