My tapping is not working. What can I do?

There are several steps that must be taken before determining whether or not Tapping is working. Nowadays, nearly all smartphones are fully compatible with the Tap (NFC) method; however, there may be cases where a prospect's phone does not have NFC; in those cases, we'll provide alternative solutions below.

First we need to make sure if your Physical Card has been fully activated because if is not, tapping would not work. To take a look if your product is properly activated and has digital content added to it such as Virtual Cards or Mini-Pages you can take a look at the following article that explains all this process:

Afterwards, we must ensure that NFC is properly activated in both your phone (which is required for activation) and any prospects' phones (which will look at the content of your card when you Tap in their phones).

When using Androids place the card at the lower half of the phone. Ensure that NFC is enabled, sometimes it may come disabled on Androids. Watch the following video:

When tapping on iPhone make sure the screen is on and unlocked. Place the center of the card at the top edge of the phone. For newer models it is best to tap right above where the camera is located. Watch the following video:

If a prospect's phone doesn't have NFC then you can use either the QR Codes or link sharing alternatives. There are two ways to use QR Codes: the first is that it is already integrated at the back of your card, and the second is that QR Codes can be exported from our platform and used in different sections of your account, such as Virtual Cards and Mini-Pages.
