Understanding Digital Cards Most Common Components

Digital Card designs are simple but feature-rich, offering a full suite of common web elements to choose from. Each Digital Card will reflect the style and personality of you or your business brand. This article provides brief explanations of the most common and popular components users include in their Digital Cards and instructions on how to insert them. Components are any elements you find within a Digital Card; they can also be referred to as Modules or Blocks, but we'll use the term Component for this article. Every Component within a Digital Card can contain different types of information, purposes, and styles.

Adding Components

Add new components to decide the content you share with your audience:

  • Click on the blue "+" icon at the bottom of the Digital Card Builder.
  • Select and add any desired Component from the Add Components menu.

Most Used Components


Add Contact Button: This button allows you to add your contact information in a downloadable format known as a Virtual Card, enabling your audience to download and add your contact information to their phone book. This button can be found under the Add Components menu and in some Digital Card Templates.
  • Click on the Add Contact button in the Add Components menu
  • Edit the button by clicking on the pencil icon and select your preferred profile.

Auto Lead Generation Feature: This option within the Add Contact button lets you receive contact information from people interacting with your profile on the Digital Card.



Add Buttons: Buttons can serve many purposes, such as redirecting to a specific link, allowing people to download any PDF you attach to your Digital Card, launching another profile or Digital Card, calling a phone number, etc. They act as Call to Actions for your audience.

  • Select the buttons option in the Add Components menu.
  • Edit the inserted button by clicking on the pencil icon.

Add Social Media Icons/Buttons: Within the Digital Card builder, you'll find buttons and icon presets for the most common social media platforms. If your preferred platform isn't included, you can specify the link the button will redirect to.

  • Go to the Social Networks section in the Add Components menu and select the desired social media icon/button.
  • Enter editing mode by clicking on the pencil icon.
  • In the Website URL field, paste the URL of your desired social media.

Add Map: Maps are helpful for showing any location you want in real-time, such as your work address. This component works with Google's algorithm.

  • Go to the Contact Information section in the Add Components menu and select Map.
  • Enter editing mode by clicking on the pencil icon.
  • Type or paste your address.

Add Business Reviews or Capture Reviews: These components connect with your Google Review account, registered email, and the platform. The differences between both components are explained in this article. They display real-time feedback on your personal or organization’s reviews.
  • Go to the Business Tools section in the Add Components menu and select Reviews or Capture Reviews.
  • Enter editing mode by clicking on the pencil icon.
  • Type and select your company.

Add Contact Form: This is one of the most popular lead generation features within the Digital Card Builder. It allows visitors to your Digital Card to share their contact information and/or send comments. This feature is connected to the Connections section of the Dashboard and your registered email.

  • Go to the Lead Generation section in the Add Components menu and select Contact Form.
  • Enter editing mode by clicking on the pencil icon.
  • Adjust any fonts or colors according to your brand in the Style section of the editing menu.
