How Can I Change the Background of My Digital Card?

Modified on Thu, 23 May at 12:02 PM

A unique background can add significant value to your Digital Card, aligning it with your personal or company brand. Background options include solid colors, gradients, or images.

To change the background of any Digital Card, whether created using a template or from scratch, follow these steps:

Select the Background:

  • Double-click on an empty area of the Digital Card.
  • You'll know the background is selected when gray dotted lines appear surrounding the entire Digital Card and the editing options display the title "Main Container".

Editing the Background:

  • Within the editing properties, you can choose to use an image, a solid color, or a gradient.

Selecting an Image:

  • Click Upload, then select the desired image (almost any format can be used).

  • For the best results with background images, we recommend selecting Contain or Cover for size and No Repeat for the repeat options.

Enhancing the Overall Page Background

An extra tip to further enhance your background visuals is to change the overall page background. Note that this will only be visible on larger devices such as computer monitors, laptops, or tablets.

Access Page Settings:

  • Click the wrench icon at the bottom of the Digital Card Builder or double-click the empty space on the sides of the Digital Card Builder.
  • You'll be prompted with the Page Settings menu and given the option to use an image, a solid color, or a gradient.

Selecting an Image:

  • Click Upload, then select the desired image (almost any format can be used).

  • For the best results for the page background, we recommend selecting Contain or Cover for size and No Repeat for the repeat options.
