Layer position feature

Layer position is a useful feature found in each module of our Mini-Page; it can help us make decisions or resolve visual issues that may arise within the Mini-Page. The idea is that we decide which objects will be on top or behind with Layer position, with a major number representing a primary hierarchy and a lower number representing the opposite. This feature will assist us in making better decisions, particularly when it comes to CTAs (call to action buttons), so that they receive the attention they deserve.

This is an example of an incorrectly configured layer position, and it shows how it can affect the "Request a meeting" call to action:

Follow these steps for a complete understanding of how to use this feature:
  1. Select an object to edit by clicking on top of it, then enter edit mode by clicking on the pencil icon or by double clicking
  2. Look for Layer Position in the positioning options
  3. Click "-" or "+" depending on the hierarchy you want to assign to any object
  4. We recommend giving Call to Action buttons, such as "Request a meeting," the number 2 and every other object the number 1, so these buttons have priority and always appear on top

After you have finished positioning each object, you can test how it will look by clicking on the eye icon in the top bar; this will put you in testing mode, just like if you were trying the Mini-Page from a phone. The following example shows how our CTA button should look when properly configured:

This technique can also be used on images, as shown below; the procedure is the same as in the previous steps:

Always save your Mini-Pages after editing them by clicking the Save Icon in the top bar. We strongly recommend that you save each time you make a small edit and are satisfied with the results; this will save you a lot of time and ensure that you don't lose any progress.
