How to save contacts in Android?

Modified on Mon, 6 May at 2:15 PM

Saving your contact information can be done in various ways, whether by tapping your physical card to a smartphone or sharing your Profile and/or Digital Card through links or QR codes. Regardless of the method, the process remains consistent across different devices and options. Let's explore how to save a contact.

  • Firstly, ensure your Digital Card includes a "Save Contact" button. While this button is typically available on most of Digital Card templates, it can also be manually added using the Digital Card Builder. Once pressed, the contact-saving process begins.

  • Upon pressing the button, a screen will appear, asking the prospect where they wish to save the VCF (Virtual Card File). They'll need to click the download button to access the file. Remember that this file contains all the contact information you have within your Profile.

  • The file will then automatically download, displaying a preview of your contact information. Within this screen, prospects can press "Import."

  • Next, they'll be prompted with a new screen asking where they want the contact information saved.

  • Once the process is complete, anyone who has downloaded your contact will have access to your VCF and will be able to view all the information you've included in your Profile. Remember, you can edit your Profiles at any time.

Additionally, within our platform's dashboard, tools like "Connections" and "Insights" are available to help you track analytics. These analytics can reveal actions prospects have taken with Digital Cards, Profiles, Physical Products, and more. For instance, you can see how many people have saved your contact information, filled out contact forms, or viewed your social media links.
