Welcome to the Mini-Pages Glossary, which contains all of the terms, definitions, and image references you'll need to know in order to get the most out of Taptok's Mini-Pages.

Mini-Page Builder UI
  • Mini-Page Builder: The name given to our Mini-Page editor, this is everything you see on-screen when editing a Mini-Page.

  • Preview Mode: This mode allows you to see your progress as well as test each button and function on your Mini-Page
  • Save: It allows you to save, name and share your Mini-Page
  • Return Buttons: These are used to undo or redo actions performed within the Mini-Page
  • Page Settings: General options for changing the overall look of the page. More useful when displaying a Mini-Page on larger devices such as computers or tablets
  • Add Blocks or Modules: The most important button within the Mini-Page Builder as it contains all the possible features to add to any Mini-Page

Blocks/Modules Types
  • General: Modules that allow you to add customizable basic elements to a Mini-Page, such as text, icons, images, buttons, and so on

  • Contact Information: Modules that can hold additional information about yourself

  • Social Networks: Pre-made modules containing buttons with actions to launch the most popular social media websites

  • e-Commerce: A section where you can redirect your e-Commerce sites

  • Media: You can use this type of modules to insert external media such as third-party links to video previews, QR Code generation, or even image sliders

  • Lead Generation: You can insert the most popular Call to Actions and Lead Generation Forms using the modules in this section

  • Custom Modules: The most complex and creative type of module to use; we recommend that you avoid using this type of module if you are not a programmer or have basic programming knowledge, as it can result in unexpected results

  • Business Tools: The final section is for modules that provide information about your company's various types of analytics, such as reviews

Important Terms, Icons and Functions
  • Editing Tools: When you click a block/module within a Mini-Page, it will become highlighted with grayed dots around its corners, and when highlighted (selected), it will display editing tools that will allow you to modify said module in various ways

  • Six Dotted Icon: It allows you to click and drag a block, and by double clicking it will take you to the editing mode for that specific block
  • Trash Icon: To delete the currently selected module
  • Two Squares Icon: This icon allows you to copy or duplicate the currently selected module
  • Pencil Icon: To enter the selected module's editing mode
  • Properties: When you are in the editing mode of any module, you will see the properties that you can change. The main properties that we can see across almost all modules are General, Style, and Action

  • General: It allows the selection of general properties of a specific module, it enables changes in a Macro Level, and the options seen in this type of properties may vary depending on the type of module

  • Style: This type of property enables us to modify a module at the Micro Level by providing options such as coloring, effects, object alignment and position, and so on

  • Action: These properties are more commonly used in buttons and icons for the reason that they allow us to specify what function a button or icon should perform when pressed or clicked
