Understanding dividers

Modified on Fri, 10 Mar 2023 at 06:47 PM

Dividers are simple Modules that allow us to control the vertical spacing between modules on our Mini-Page; as their name suggests, they are simply used to create divisions.

We strongly advise placing them in specific locations and not abusing their use because they can cause confusion due to their invisibility; they should only be used when absolutely necessary and in locations where you will remember you placed them. In the example below, we use them to create more space between the Gallery, Media, and Map modules, which tend to have little space between them when placed continuously.

To insert a Divider, do the following:
  1. Open the Add Blocks menu by clicking on the blue + button
  2. In the General section navigate all the way to the right
  3. Click on Divider
  4. Move the Divider to the desired location
  5. To change the size and visibility of the Divider, click the pencil icon to enter editing mode
  6. Remove the word divider from the General Properties section
  7. Click on Style and adjust the width and height of the Divider; a width of 0 will make the reference lines disappear and the Divider completely invisible.
